Goulash People: It's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it!: "What will happen to our building industry when suddenly these positions are vacated. I personally think this is a huge mistake. I've had dealings with Portuguese and they have a very strong work ethic, they are reliable and their workmanship is beyond reproach! As well they are trustworthy and have high moral standards. They can only be a plus for our society.
(...) It seems governments are always making examples of people who should be encouraged to stay rather then forcing them to leave! Ship out the bad apples instead of decent family people who would be assets to our country.
Let them stay!"
